Date of launch of Splitgate delayed indefinitely

The developer 1047 Games has announced that Splitgate The full launch has been delayed and the current open beta version will be extended since there is more work to do before we are ready for launch. The developer made the announcement in a new tweet that also revealed that the beta version has now had 10 million downloads on several platforms. It is an incredible achievement, and it is certainly a good omen for the game once you have a full launch. The news can be discouraging for those waiting for the full game, but it is expected that the extra time will help the developer to make the necessary adjustments.

Fortunately, it seems that game fans will not have to wait much more to receive more news. Apparently, splitgate will appear next week during the GamesCom. It is not clear exactly what will be exhibited, but at a pio-track, the official Twitter account joked: I would not like to miss this if it were, along with an emoji winking. The GameScom will be held on Wednesday, August 25.

For those who are not familiar with splitgate, the game is a first-person shooting game that is inspired by both aureola and portal. Players can create worm holes around the map, adding an interesting strategy. In recent weeks, the beta version has awakened a great interest on the part of the Twitch streamers, including Adin Ross and YourRage. It remains to be seen if the delay of the full publication will hurt the interest in splitgate, but time will tell it!
